Dr. Jeff Geisert is a Nebraska native and grew up in Ogallala. After attending the University of Nebraska and receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1982, he then went on to Ohio State University College of Optometry where he graduated with honors in 1986. He was awarded membership into Beta Sigma Kappa, an International Optometric Honorary for academic excellence. He is certified to treat and manage ocular disease as well as co-manage lasik and cataract patients. Dr. Geisert also has extensive experience in fitting of all types of contact lenses.
Additionally, Dr. Geisert has been very involved in providing eye care for those less fortunate both locally and internationally. Through OneSight, Dr. Geisert has had the opportunity to visit places like Thailand, India, Peru, Ecuador, Costa Rica and give free eye care and glasses to thousands of people who are in need. Dr. Geisert also works closely with Matt Talbot Kitchen, local Lion’s Clubs as well as women’s shelters, providing free or discounted exams and glasses to those that need a helping hand.
Since 1993, Dr. Geisert has been providing comprehensive eye care with the ProEye Group and is committed to giving his patients the level of care and understanding they deserve. He resides in South Lincoln with his wife Jennifer and two children.
Dr. Matthew Johnson grew up in Hebron, Nebraska and graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska Kearney where he was a member of the men’s basketball team and student athlete advisory committee.
Dr. Johnson graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1998. His externships included optometry practices in Indianapolis and Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and an ophthalmology practice in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Johnson has completed specialized training in the treatment and management of ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and pre/post-operative management of LASIK and cataract surgeries. He has provided vision and ocular health screenings for the Special Olympics and for the less fortunate in Mexico and continues to perform free or discounted eye exams for local outreach groups.
Dr. Johnson has been providing eye care for ProEye Group patients since 1999. He resides in Lincoln with his wife and two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities with family and friends.
Dr. Kelly Robertson received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000 with distinction. She graduated with high honors from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2006. She received both the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Society’s Certificate of Achievement for four years of academic excellence, as well as the Essilor Optical Corneal Reflection Award for excellence in dispensing skills and rapport with patients. Her externship experience included rotations in Indianapolis, UNMC-Omaha, and Offutt Airforce Base.
Dr. Robertson is an active member of the American Optometric Association including the Cornea and Contact Lens section. She has been providing comprehensive eye care with Professional Eyecare at Oakview in Omaha since 2006. She resides near Gretna, Nebraska, with her husband, Gabe, and their two young daughters.
